My Story
My story begins in the small town of Hannibal, Missouri, located on the Mississippi River. After living in a small town during my youth and adolescence, I knew that somewhere bigger was calling my name. After graduating, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and move to Saint Louis, Missouri - a city 130 times bigger than Hannibal. In Saint Louis, I was able to harness my independence and create further opportunities to reach my future goals. I landed a job as an intern at ReliantCare Management LLC, where I was exposed to many aspects of the business, including management. Having this experience solidified my calling to management.

During this time, I decided to continue growing my independence by attending the University of Arizona, 1300 miles away. This was a defining moment for me as I was navigating life entirely on my own, away from my family, for the first time. Going to school in Arizona has grown me in many ways, including my academic intelligence, work ethic, and
leadership skills.
Following graduation, I again chose to challenge my independence by embarking on a communication and marketing internship in Rome, Italy. Ultimately, this experience gave me some direction as it piqued my interest in international business. I developed uncommon skills through the opportunity, including cultural competence, adaptability, problem-solving in diverse environments, and a unique perspective on nuances of global and European business practices.

In the future, I plan to continue investing in my knowledge by obtaining my master's in business administration with a specialization in international business. I believe this will further equip me with the knowledge and credentials to succeed in my professional career. I plan to attend graduate school on the east coast, where I can further challenge myself to adapt to a new environment, further my independence, and further develop myself as a person. Wherever I choose to attend, I know I will be able to create success for myself, positively impact others, and prepare myself for my future career.
"An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest."

Family
My family is one of the most important aspects of my life. They have instilled values in me and taught me to live up to my fullest potential in school, work, and personal life. My relationship with my older sister Lexie has taught me the importance of loyalty. She will always be one of my most trusted best friends. My younger sister Kasey and I have a special relationship where I am a mentor and a best friend at the same time. Being a role model for my younger siblings has given me natural leadership qualities.
Violin and Piano
At the age of six, I began playing the violin and piano. I continued my career in these instruments for the next ten years of my life. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood include the times when I would practice violin and piano at my grandmother's house to prepare for the next concert I had. Making her proud of me during those times will always resonate with me. Aside from the memories, playing and practicing these instruments has taught me the importance of commitment, patience, and time management.

Soccer
From a young age, I was captivated by the game of soccer. I played club soccer through elementary and middle school while playing both club and high school soccer when in high school. Over the years, the sport taught me the power of perseverance, careful decision-making, and the components of a successful team. One part of my passion for management stems from my years as captain of my high school soccer team, where I had the opportunity to lead, empower, and serve those on my team.
